Rubil for Android

A Rubil keyboard for Android is being built. It is the last of the three new platforms to land, and it is not on Google Play yet.

Where it actually stands

The keyboard is written but it has not been through a full build-and-run cycle on a real device yet. Of the three platforms we are working on, this is the earliest.

We would rather tell you that plainly than put a countdown on the page. When it is real, the people on this list hear first.

It ships as a keyboard

Rubil on Android is a keyboard you switch to. Tap the mic, speak, and the formatted text goes into whatever you were writing in, whether that is Gmail, WhatsApp, Slack or Docs.

Same rule as every other surface. Rubil formats what you said and never rewrites it.

Where it sits in the queue

Android comes after Windows and iPhone. If Android is the one you need, say so on the list. It is the clearest signal we have for moving it up.

You can use Rubil today

Chrome and Mac are both live now, on the same account you will use when Android ships. Your Glossary carries over.
