What is this voice dictation demo?
It is a free way to test voice typing in your browser. You speak one short message and Rubil formats it two ways at once, for Gmail and Slack, so you can see how the same words fit each app.
Do I need to sign up to try voice dictation online?
No. You can record and see your formatted result without an account. After a few free tries you can add your email to keep going with 1,000 words a day.
Does Rubil change my words?
No. Rubil formats your words. It never rewrites or generates them. It fixes grammar, drops filler, and shapes the layout for each app, and the meaning stays yours.
What happens to my audio?
Your audio is processed transiently through Groq to transcribe it, then discarded. Your transcript is sent to OpenAI to format it, then discarded. Nothing is stored.
Does voice to text software format my writing?
Most voice to text tools only transcribe. They turn your speech into plain text and stop there. Rubil also formats the result, and it shapes the same words to fit where you are writing, so a Gmail draft and a Slack message each come out ready to send.
