# Rubil

Rubil is a voice dictation tool for knowledge workers. It transcribes speech and formats it differently depending on the target platform — Gmail gets email structure, Slack gets concise messages, Notion gets clean prose, and 20+ other apps each get platform-appropriate formatting. Rubil never generates or rewrites content. It formats what the user actually said. This "ghostwriter, not generator" philosophy is the core differentiator from competitors like Wispr Flow, Willow Voice, and Aqua Voice.
